Young Professional Events

Bridging the gap between young professionals and older professionals who are established in their career, the Young Professional CIG creates connections to provide young professionals with the advice and support they need to flourish in their new careers, while expanding their professional networks. Participation in this CIG is limited to Active (individual) members of AOCS (for less than 10 years) who are 34 years of age or younger.

Meet-and-Greet at President’s Welcome Reception
Sunday, May 6
5:30 p.m.–7 p.m.

During the evening reception on Sunday, the Young Professionals’ CIG will have a dedicated space on the Lawn to gather and make plans for the duration of the meeting. Come meet the YP CIG leaders and learn how you can become more involved in CIG activities. We will see you there!

This meeting will set priorities for the next year’s activities and may include discussion of technical sessions, as well as other education and meeting opportunities. This is an open meeting and your chance to help lead and direct future programs the group will organize.
