Common Interest Group and Committee activities

AOCS Common Interest Groups (CIGs) create those ever-important connections between members who are at the same point in their careers. Whether you are a student, a young professional or a professional educator, an AOCS CIG introduces you to peers to share experiences, insights, concerns and solutions.

Joint CIG Luncheon

Wednesday, May 9
Noon–1:55 p.m.

Members of the Student, Young Professional and Professional Educator Common Interest Groups are invited to partake in Wednesday’s lunch in a private area of the Expo Hall. During the lunch you will learn how to get involved and create valuable connections with members of the other CIGs.

Attendees will collect their lunch from the exhibit hall and meet in the designated area within Hall B.  You will have the opportunity to hear what the Common Interest Groups are planning for the upcoming year and network with your peers, as well as members of the other CIGS.

New this year, Mentor Speed Networking will be available for those interested in participating.  You will have the opportunity to quickly meet with industry professionals and members of the PE and YP CIGs to create an informal mentor/mentee relationship.   Please let us know you are interested in attending this FREE event. RSVP online now.
