Health and Wellness
We take your health and safety seriously and are committed to providing a safe environment for all participants of the 2023 AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo. As COVID-19 restrictions have eased, AOCS recommends annual meeting attendees do what is best for their health and take precautions as necessary.
To promote the health and wellness of everyone at the event, AOCS will continue to monitor any guidance and requirements of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state of Colorado, City of Denver, the Colorado Convention Center, and other local regulations regarding COVID-19 safety practices. By registering to attend 2023 AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo in-person, you are agreeing to abide by all applicable COVID-19-related requirements, advisories, policies, procedures, and protocols.
Masks and Vaccinations
AOCS encourages all participants to do what is best for their personal wellbeing. We will offer optional masks and will have hand sanitation stations in the Colorado Convention Center. We will also have a supply of rapid tests available free of charge onsite and strongly encourage participants to test should they feel unwell at any point during the meeting. We will not require masks to be worn and will not check vaccination status of individual attendees.
AOCS strongly recommends that all in-person participants of the AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo be up to date with their COVID-19 vaccines, but it is not a requirement to attend.
