Virtual meeting platform

All AOCS exhibitors and sponsors receive a profile on the virtual meeting platform, Breakout. The virtual presence goes live to registered meeting attendees on April 28 and will remain up through December 31, 2022.

All exhibitors and sponsors received access to the backend (administrative) side of the platform on April 27. From the backend, you can create your company profile and add inputs which may include:

  • One company video/commercial (.mp4, 2 GB maximum)
  • Company description composed of text, JPGs, and/or links (1,000 words maximum)
  • Three downloadable resources (.PDF, 500 MB maximum/file)
  • One call-to-action URL and custom label

Booth layout and services

A standard booth is a 10’ x 10’ space (100 square feet) with an 8’ high drape back wall, 3’ high drape side walls and an ID sign (7’ x 44”). The following companies are providing services:

  • Shepard Exposition Services: furnishings/decor, flooring, graphics/signs, cleaning/disinfecting, rigging, shipping, advance warehouse, material handling and on-site storage
  • Hyatt Regency Atlanta: Food and beverage and hospitality suites
  • Encore: Power, Internet, monitors and other audio-video equipment
  • TLC National Convention Plant Services, Inc.: Floral arrangements, plants and specialty services

If you receive phone calls or emails from other companies not listed above, they are not affiliated with the 2022 AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo. AOCS does not recommend using unsolicited services.

Internet access

Complimentary wi-fi is available throughout the meeting and exhibit space. If an exhibit booth requires internet for streaming videos or large files, please order the appropriate bandwidth through the internet vendor, Encore. View the booth service kit (.pdf) for details.

Registration

AOCS does not register anyone automatically. All exhibiting organizations’ attendees must register for the annual meeting online by April 15, 2022. Register now.

Each exhibiting company receives the following:

  • One full meeting registration
  • One exhibit personnel registration (allows access to only the exhibit hall)

Exhibiting companies can also register for additional “exhibit personnel” badges for US $250/ea. Personnel with these badges only have access to the exhibit hall. Any personnel who also want access to oral and poster presentations must register for the full meeting.

Certificate of Liability Insurance

A requirement of exhibiting at the AOCS annual meeting is all clients must carry liability insurance throughout the Expo, with a limit of not less than US $1,000,000 per occurrence. Certificates indicating adequate insurance coverage must be provided to Clara Chun, AOCS Customer Success Manager, at clara.chun@aocs.org by March 1, 2022.

The Certificate of Liability Insurance must include “American Oil Chemists’ Society, P.O. Box 17190, Urbana, IL 61803-7190, USA” under the “Under the Certificate Holder”.

Corporate Member registration

Is your organization also an AOCS Corporate Member? If so, you may have access to additional full meeting registrations, as well as access to the Corporate Member Lounge within the expo hall. The Corporate Member Lounge features morning coffee service, device charging stations and soft furniture for more comfortable working conditions. Learn more about Corporate Membership.
