Student ePoster and Pitch Competition

2023 AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo
April 30–May 3, 2023
Colorado Convention Center | Denver, Colorado, USA

Student ePoster and Pitch Competition

The Student ePoster and Pitch Competition is an opportunity for student researchers to highlight their work, gain visibility, and have access to feedback and mentoring from industry leaders. Students who submit poster abstracts that are accepted to the annual meeting program are eligible for the ePoster Competition.

Eligible students submit ePosters, which are then judged by experts within their interest area. Four finalists from each group (usually divisions) are chosen to participate in the Pitch Competition. (ePosters were due March 15.)

The Pitch is a live 5-minute oral presentation where students have the opportunity to inspire and interest others in their research. Judges will evaluate pitches and viewers will vote for their favorite pitch during the live presentation. Join us in celebrating emerging scientific leaders by participating in this live event!

ePoster Competition Participants

All submissions were combined into two groups this year. A panel of judges reviewed the posters for aesthetics, organization, research design, and originality.

Four finalists were chosen from each group to move on to the Pitch stage of the competition.
