Registration options

All registration types, excluding single-day passes, include access to:

    • Opening Plenary and Celebration
    • Technical Sessions
    • Featured Sessions, including Hot Topic Symposium 
    • Expo
    • AOCS Governing Board Town Hall

Single-day registrants only have access to the events listed for the day they are registered.

*Students must be full-time, working less than 50% in professional employment. A professor must confirm the student’s full-time status on university letterhead. Post-doc students are not eligible for the student registration rate.

**Young Professionals must be active individual members of AOCS (for less than 10 years) and be 34 years of age or younger. Young Professional status will be verified at badge pick-up.

Exhibit personnel

Companies exhibiting at the Annual Meeting’s Expo are invited to bring additional personnel to work the booth for US $200/person, regardless of the individual’s AOCS membership status. Please choose “Exhibit Personnel” as the registration option when advancing through the online system. Exhibit Personnel only have access to the Presidents Reception, Expo and any networking events in the Expo Hall.

Registration policies

Optional events and guest tickets

Optional ticketed events during the AOCS Annual Meeting include Division, Section, and Common Interest Group luncheons and dinners.

Division and Section meal tickets should be purchased in advance with Annual Meeting registration.

Guest tickets are available for the President’s Reception on Sunday, Happy Hour Reception on Monday and Happy Hour Reception on Tuesday.

Travel grants and funding available

The Australasian Section, European Section, Industrial Oil Products Division, Lipid Oxidation and Quality Division and Protein and Co-Products Division all offer funding assistance through travel grants to attend the AOCS Annual Meeting. Please visit the respective webpages for guidelines on available programs.

AOCS offers more than 40 society, scientific, division, and student award opportunities for presenters at the AOCS Annual Meeting, with some offering travel reimbursement and honorariums. Visit the Awards Program webpage for more details. Don't delay-November 1 is the nomination deadline.
