The main meeting venue is the Oregon Convention Center, located at 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland, Oregon, 97232.
The official meeting dates are Sunday, April 27–Wednesday, April 30, 2025. The first official event begins at 3:30 p.m. PDT on Sunday.
The Edible Oils Refining Short Course will be held on Saturday and Sunday, before the official start of the meeting.

All official partner hotels are within walking distance of the convention center. You can view a list of hotels and where they are located here.
You can purchase lunch at the Oregon Convention Center on Monday and Tuesday of the meeting. Please note that vendors in the convention center only accept card payments. There are cash-to-card kiosks available if you are unable to use a card.
There are also restaurants within walking distance of the convention center.
Portland has an extensive network of public transportation.
Complimentary Portland TriMet transit passes, also called Hop FastPasses, will be available upon request from the AOCS registration desk inside Hall A and from the Portland Information Desk during staffed hours. The passes can be used on the MAX light rail, street car, and bus systems.
The passes will be valid for the duration of the 2025 AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo from April 27-May 1.
Car share services are also readily available in and around the Oregon Convention Center and at partner hotels.

The registration desk opens Sunday, April 27 at Noon in Hall A (Expo Hall) of the Oregon Convention Center.

No. All 2025 AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo presentations will be in person.
Meeting attendees will receive on-demand access to recordings of all sessions by Friday, May 2.
All oral presentations will be recorded and the content will be made available to view on demand shortly after the meeting ends.
Poster presenters will be encouraged to upload a PDF of their physical poster to the annual meeting website. However, it is up to the individual poster presenter whether they choose to make their presentation available on demand.
Only registered attendees can access these on-demand materials.
It is up to the individual presenters whether they choose to make their presentation slide decks available on the annual meeting website. If available, you can view it on the attendee meeting site beginning April 21.
You will likely want to use Portland International Airport (PDX), approximately 8 miles from the Oregon Convention Center and partner hotels.
We encourage you to arrive either Saturday, April 26 or Sunday, April 27. The Newcomer Meet & Greet: Reception for First-Time Attendees and New Members kicks off meeting events the afternoon of Sunday afternoon, followed by the President's Welcome and Awards Celebration and the Welcome Reception.
Attire is business casual, and we encourage you to wear comfortable shoes. We also recommend you dress in layers, as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary.
No. Fraudulent companies may reach out to you under the guise of working with AOCS. These companies are not affiliated with AOCS in any way and are attempting to obtain personal information and credit card numbers in exchange for an excel document. We are not sure what contact list they are attempting to sell, but we guarantee it is not the actual AOCS annual meeting attendee list.
